I bought these in 8wide, and was sent a 8.5; I wasn't quite sure if they would fit. They were immediately comfortable with a sock and without! I am a preschool teacher and needed a comfortable, durable, stylish shoe to wear with jeans, but a shoe that accommodates a recent knee surgery. So glad I took a chance and will buy a pair in black too.
