I bought a pair because I wanted something cute to wear in the OR as the Dansko selection has been very plain the past few years. The wood bottom is not flexable at all and I had heel pain, ankle pain and bad shin splints. The leather also scuffed easily and the rubber began to peel apart. I had them 6 months which may be OK for a pair of nursing shoes, but my danskos lasted me 3 years each. I did give up the cute patterns for a new pair of Danskos and the pain was gone in a week.
